About Color Profile (ICC Profile)



There are two color profiles (ICC Profile) for each models. Each profile is generated for use of monitor under the adjustment described below. Select the profile to match the adjusted monitor.

(1) Monitor is adjusted to 7500 K & Gamma=2.2

Color Profile: *** Custom 7500K G2.2
Monitor Adjustments: CAL Switch Mode----- Custom
Color Temperature------ 7500K
Gamma--------------------- 2.2

(2) Monitor is adjusted to 7500 K

Color Profile: *** DICOM CL
Monitor Adjustments: CAL Switch Mode----- DICOM
Color Temperature------ 7500K

NOTE
*
*** indicates the model name of monitor.

* What is the ICC Profile?

A specific file including the color characteristic information for the device, settled by ICC (International Color Consortium).


* Setup Procedure of Color Profile (ICC Profile)

Color profile (ICC Profile) can be used as ColorSync profile on the Mac OS.
The steps to configure this are as follows:

(1)
Mac OS 9
  1. Copy a color profile to [System Folder] - [ColorSync Profiles].
  2. Select the profile from list through [Apple Menu] - [Control Panel] - [Monitor] .

(2)
Mac OS X 10.2 or later
  1. Copy a color profile, which is below the CD-ROM disk or in the folder where the downloaded file is saved, to the following location on the hard disk that contains your computer's system files (Macintosh HD, etc.).

    /Library/ColorSync/Profiles/Displays


  2. Click [Color] in the [Display] panel under [System Preferences] and select one of the color profiles from the list.
