6.Independent Image Setting (IIS)

It is possible to apply specific CAL Switch mode for user-selected area. The rest of screen is set its brightness like "Text" mode. It is suitable when writing or reading the document with indicating the picture at high brightness.

This function is only available for particular monitor models. Refer to the monitor supported function list to confirm whether your monitor is available.

Auto CAL Switch function is not available while this function is running.
*
If RadiCS is used on your system, this function is not available while RadiCS is running.
If RadiCS is started while this function running, the user-selected area becomes temporarily invalid.
If this function is started while RadiCS running, it becomes possible to start selecting area after RadiCS quits.

 

6-1. Starting Up the function

1.
Right-click the ScreenManager Pro for Medical setting icon and select [Run Independent Image Setting (I)].

Independent Image Setting control panel is displayed in the lower right of the screen, and the screen becomes rather dark.

6-2. Independent Image Setting Control Panel

[Select area]

Start selecting area.

[Set]
The selected-area is fixed and indicated brightly.
[Release]

Release the selected area and the screen becomes state of Independent Image Setting start-up.


[CAL Switch Mode]
[Mode1 / Mode2 / Mode3]

Change CAL Switch mode of the selected-area.


[Run IIS automatically when the computer starts]
If this option is checked, Independent Image Setting function run automatically when the computer starts next time.

 

6-3. Selecting area

1.
Click [Select area].

Closing line appears at the center of the screen.

2.
Hold down "Ctrl" key on the keyboard and click the area where you want to indicate brightly.

Selected-area is bounded by the closing line.

To redo the selection of area, release "Ctrl" key and do procedure of 2 again.
*
It is possible to select several areas.

 

3.
Click [Set] to fix the selected-area.

Closing line disappears and the selected-area is indicated brightly.

 

 

4.
To change the selected area, repeat the process.

 

5.
To select several areas, hold down "Ctrl" key and click several areas successively.

The selected-area is the rectangle including all clicked areas.

 

Example

If area "A" and "B" are clicked successively , area "C" is indicated brightly.

 

6-4. Selecting CAL Switch mode

1.

Click either [Mode1], [Mode2] or [Mode3].

The CAL Switch mode inside the selected area changes.

The CAL Switch mode of the monitor allotted to each button depends on the monitor models. Refer to the CAL Switch mode list.

 

6-5. Releasing area

1.
Click [Release].

The selected-area disappears and the brightness of the entire screen becomes uniform.

 

6-6. Exiting out of the function

1.
Click [x] at the upper-right corner of the control panel.

The entire screen becomes the CAL Switch mode which indicates the selected-area when exiting the function.
